OUR Centre stands for Our Urban Retreat. Formerly used by Yoga in Daily Life (YIDL), it has been used as an Ashram for two years, and as such has a lovely sacred and peaceful feel to it.  When YIDL moved out in July, Rachel Murphy the now OUR Centre manager of this charitable, volunteer run and non-profit venture, took over its lease. The vision and the aim being that Rachel wished to keep its sacred and peaceful energy, and to help bring more spiritual practice and holistic wellbeing offerings into the community.

I am one of OUR Centre's charity trustees, and with Rachel, we wish to bring forward OUR vision, part of which includes bringing free and affordable holistic services to the community.

With that in mind, Friday and Sunday are our "Freedays", where we currently have a  mixture of inspirational movie nights, meditations, yoga and a Lightworker support circle, Satsangs and mantra/meditation groups.   Those who wish to join us are very welcome, and a donation for using the services on offer is also very welcome in order to help keep the centre open and with running costs met.

It is located at 22a Caroline Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, B3 1UE

I am usually there on a Tuesday from 12pm - 3pm offering readings and a free mediation between 1.30 - 2pm, and also on Thursdays from 12pm-3pm, so if you wish to book a psychic, clairvoyant reading with me face to face, you may choose to meet me at OUR Centre. (Please note that donations will be made from all readings done by me at the Centre).

I will also be facilitating the Lightworkers Support Circle, which is currently being held on Sunday 31st July and Sunday 28th August  from 5pm -7pm.  Further dates will be added, however it is intended that the last Sunday of each month will be when we most likely hold them.

The intention of the Lightworker Support Circle is to have a group meditation, share and gather to help and support each other in our work of bringing more light, love and transformational service for good into the world, by the lightwork that we do.  I always say, if you are a vessel of divine giving, then you need to find ways to make sure your own cup of giving is refilled.  We hope that this is a way to help refill that cup to overflow.

Facebook and Twitter links will soon be posted here to OUR Centre pages.

www.helperangel.co.uk Helper Angel has developed as I have developed, yes its another of my offerings or rather it is me ... you see one morning a couple of years ago, as I was waking from sleep, and spirit clearly said to me, "you are to call yourself Helper Angel". After checking in with how that felt to me, and looking on the internet to see if I could actually use that name for a website, I took their guidance, and  I now use this title for all the work I do - as I just see whatever I do now as just being me the "Helper Angel".

My Helper Angel services include offering people the chance to work with me more on a spiritual mentoring, personal growth basis, and I also offer talks, writings and workshops to name but a few things... in fact for those that do know me in Birmingham, they often call me Angel Sarah or just Helper Angel ... so I guess spirit knew what they were doing when they told me that.

I have set up a page on facebook - so look for "Helper Angel - Sarah Page" - and through that portal I give daily Angel words of wisdom and channelled messages, all you have to do is click the Like button to recieve updates.

If you would like to know more about Helper Angel services and what I offer, then you can also check out  the website  www.helperangel.co.uk or you can email me at helperangel@hotmail.co.uk.

A wonderful friend of mine and someone whose support and opinion I value is Simon Paul Frost.  He offers some great meditations you can download.  You can find out more about Simon and about what he does at www.simonpaulfrost.co.uk. He works in and around Cambridge and London,

Recently in Birmingham we have had a great vegetarian and vegan cafe opened called Veged Out.  The fact however that it is a community run, volunteer, non-profit based cafe is even more brilliant.  Check out www.vegedout.co.uk.  They are great supporters of OUR Centre too.  (You can find them on Facebook also).

How great that these two wonderful community charity organisations both came together and launched in the same month of July 2011.  Must be something in the air :0). xxx

Products I enjoy using and agree with the ethics of

Liz Earl Skin Care - www.uk.lizearl.com

I have used Liz Earl for many years now, and have at some point used most of the range, and swear by Cleanse and Polish, Daily Eye Repair, Skin Boost Tonic in fact all of the range is lovely, non-animal tested, and organically and botanically sourced ingredients where possible.

www.aveda.co.uk - Hair and skin, fragrance and candle products

I have used Aveda for such a long time now, and enjoy using their hair products, and again they don't test on animals.
